The Beautiful Mistake
Light a Match, For I Deserve To Burn

The Militia Group
September 2002

I don’t remember when or how I found out about this band, but it was forever ago and I’m sure Brandon had something to do with it. I loved this CD five or six years ago, and I love it today. I think I probably turned it in for cash at some point, pre-California or pre-Wal*Mart job, something like that, but with my recent obsession of having music at my fingertips with Itunes and their attractive songs for a dollar jazz, I remembered this band from old and picked up the digital download. Great CD. It’s way too emo for me and not near enough cool screaming, no breakdowns, nothing really sprecial here, but something about the disc held me, and five years later it still does. Way back in the day Cody and I actually went and saw this band with Further Seems Forever. I don’t know if anyone will like this nowadays, but I still do. I can’t really compare them to anyone, kind of like a more serious Senses Fail or weaker version of old Further Seems Forever actually.
