So I was thinking. And the result of this event was me deciding that I wanted to start yet another feature here on BEP. Why? Why the hell not? A few of us here watch a lot of movies, some more than others, some less than others, but we all have one thing in common. There are some movies that we think fucking suck. Sure, we have the Things That Suck topic for your everyday, garden variety shitty things, but I don’t think movies belong there. They could get overlooked. So here’s the new section, the new feature. It’s called, duh, ‘Don’t Watch This Film’. Pretty self explanatory I think.
We begin this series with this wonderful piece of cinematic bullshit. When A Stranger Calls I guess is a remake of some older movie that I never saw, and I’m sure that was stupid too. It’s never a good sign when a horror movie is rated anything less than ‘R’. WASC comes at us with a PG-13, so basically, no real violence, no nudity, and no fun. The lead girl in here is kinda cute, but has these eyebrows that look like little hairy worm things on her face. I have to be honest, it’s a little bit distracting. Fuckin girl can’t really act either. And the dialogue was awful too. So was the ’suspense’ and the bad guy, and…well, everything. STOP CALLING MEEEEEE!
