For the past week or two, I have been totally mesmerized by a website called thisisand where you essentially get to create badass sand art. I always used to love doing that colored sand in a little glass bottle thing they sometimes had a places we went on field trips to at school. The old Atlanta Festival of Trees at Christmastime comes to mind. ANYWAY, you may be shocked to learn that the picture you see above is not, in fact, a famous work of art at the Louvre, but a simple example of my sandy brilliance. While it’s hard not to just make a mountainous landscape, it’s fun to try. If you’re bored, give it a go.
