confide

Nice v-necks, brahs.

Admittedly, I don’t know or care all that much about this band and never really have. I’ve never found their stuff to be crappy enough to be worth mentioning -- until now.
It seems that, for some reason, they thought it was a killer idea to turn the Postal Service’s quasi-classic song ‘Such Great Heights’ into a metal/breakdown song and ummm, let’s just say it didn’t work out so well.

I’ve seen this on a few other sites just this morning already, so I’m not the only one who finds this repulsive. They even do the stupid group how low can you go breakdown  headbang dance. I don’t know when bands are gonna realize that sorta stuff makes them look like buffoons. Oh well.
So here ya go, if you haven’t seen this yet, prepare to shake your head in dismay.

This is no failure. Well, think what you want, but I think they’re good. I mean, listen to at least the singing vocals; they’re great! I know you know that there have been a whole lot more covers that are crappier than this. Hey, at least they can keep the tune and beat of the original. And even though you don’t like the whole “head-banging” thing, that’s why it’s their style and not yours. So don’t judge them just for that, because THAT cover is NOT a failure.
