`Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova took home the Oscar for “Best Original Song” tonight. Even with all my love for Diablo, The Coens, and all things Javier; this was the finest moment of the ceremony. It was the one moment where Hollywood showed how smart it could be, when recognized a true, deserving piece of art. It was also also the moment where Glen and Mar had their chance to shine. Marketa’s acceptance speech may, in fact, have been the BEST moment of the whole show.

what? not a big fan of all three of those nominated songs from Enchanted? MAR!
What bugged me throughout the whole show was cutting off the winners speeches all too soon, except the ones for best film, best actor etc. which is unfair in my opinion.
I’m glad those two won, they deserved it, but I don’t know any of the other artist, so.
i knew i didn’t need to watch the whole ceremony to see this performance..gooo matt!
