Releasing on 5/4, the new Deftones record entitled ‘Diamond Eyes’ is easily this years best release thus far. The title track is quite breakdown-y and awesome-o alike. The chorus is super catchy and follows the Deftones form. And it looks as though it took the Deftones to finally film a breakdown correctly. Shattering glass and [keep on readin', baby...]

Thrice’s latest album, Beggars, may not be as awesome as the Alchemy Index project they did, but don’t think for a second that it’s not still a really good record. Cuzzz it is. Several of us folks here in Bearland really feel strongly about the new Avett Brothers record (it’s pretty darn good), and they have just released a video for the first single from it, ‘I and Love and You’.
